  • That Liam Neeson has been added to the list of heavy hitters who will make cameo appearances in "Ted 2" starring Mark Wahlberg. Director Seth MacFarlane tweeted that Neeson and Morgan Freeman - who plays a civil rights lawyer we believe argues the case for letting Ted, the bear, marry his human honey - were in Boston yesterday. "Not a bad week for #Ted2," MacFarlane said. On a sadder note, the "Ted 2" crew are pulling up stakes and taking off for L.A. at the end of the week to finish up the shoot there.
  • That speaking of Wahlbergs, Mark and his bros Donnie and Paul are opening three new Wahlburgers hamburger joints in Las Vegas beginning early next year. With lines out the door 24/7 at the original Hingham locale - thanks to the A&E reality series "Wahlburgers" - is it any wonder the Dorchester homeys are expanding their empire to Sin City? Not to mention Boston, Toronto and Philadelphia. The Wahlbergs have partnered with Veg-as American Hospitality Inc. on the three newest franchises. They have not yet disclosed the locations for the eateries but say they will offer "all the signature characteristics of the flagship restaurant in Hingham, Mass-achusetts." We assume that includes the boozy milkshakes …
  • That HBO will screen the two-part made-in-Mass. miniseries "Olive Kitteridge" at the JFK Library on Oct. 21. Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Elizabeth Strout will host the hoedown.
