And even when donning the classiest of getups, she somehow always manages to add a sexy twist.
At a photocall to promote her TV series The Fosters on Tuesday, the 45-year-old singer could not resist flashing a little leg in her daring white skirt.
The thigh-high slit of her ruched skirt effectively counterbalanced a demure beige shirt, featuring white cuffs and a matching pussybow collar.
Tanned and toned, the superstar wore her highlighted hair down and styled it with flicks in a gently windswept way.
Pink lipstick perfected her smile, while patent nude heels and diamond bangles polished off her sophisticated look.
Puff Daddy - who dated JLo for two years back in 1999 - has praised her beauty, specifically noting her famous derriere as a 'work art' that will go down in history.
The 44-year-old record producer gushed over her incredible physique and insisted he is 'lucky' to count her among his exes.
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty is rumoured to be dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy - following their dance on stage together during a performance at the American Music Awards in 2013 - after they were spotted together at a nightclub in June.
Yet, in the most recent issue of People, the Ukrainian dance champion and choreographer set the record straight about their friendship.
'I am a hopeless romantic who falls in lust and gets in trouble,' he admitted. 'I love my work and am very productive, yet I always find time to play.'
While he wouldn't elaborate if his 'play' time involved Jennifer, Maksim did appear to have a fond memory of hanging out with the A-list diva and maintains he was a gentleman.
'Yes, she's great, I have fun,' he said vaguely. 'And while other names are out there … I am not a scumbag.'
Jlo is the executive producer of the ABC Family TV series The Fosters, which stars Sherri Saum and Meet the Focker's Teri Polo.
The actresses play a lesbian couple raising a mix of biological, adopted and foster children.
At the beginning of next year, the show will carry on where it left off this summer, halfway through its second season.
