They're moving to Paris in the fall, so perhaps that's why Natalie Portman and choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied wanted to take in the Los Angeles sunshine during a family stroll Sunday.
The Oscar-winning actress was dressed casually in blue shorts and grey trainers as she carried her sleepy three-year-old son, Aleph, during their outing around her Los Feliz neighbourhood.
The 33-year-old make-up free star completed her laid-back look by clipping her hair back into a high, loose bun.
French born Benjamin, 37, looked equally comfy in a loose beige t-shirt, baggy pants and white trainers.
Benjamin hasn't been seen in Los Angeles in weeks as he prepares to start his new role as the Director of Dance at the Paris Opera Ballet. Portman and Aleph will be relocating to the French capital to be with him.
Portman first met Benjamin on the set of Black Swan, the dark film for which Portman won an Oscar for her portrayal of a troubled lead ballerina.
The couple clearly dotes on their adorable son.
When Benjamin wasn't hovering near the curly-headed boy, Natalie was.
When their son became tired during the walk, petite Natalie hoisted him up and carried him the rest of the way.
